Alex Tava

Principal

Alex is a Principal and Managing Actuary at Cirdan, a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He has 20 years of experience in individual and group health insurance and government programs. Alex’s areas of expertise include: Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, dual-eligible populations, HEDIS, consumer-directed health products, dental, financial reporting, and reserve and claim liability estimation.

Prior to joining Cirdan, Alex worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois.

Alex earned bachelor’s degrees in actuarial science and economics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
